Final Forms — Sofit Letters
Five letters change shape when they appear at the END of a word: כ→ך, מ→ם, נ→ן, פ→ף, צ→ץ. The final forms drop down below the line.
Vowel Points (Niqqud)
Hebrew is normally written WITHOUT vowels. Vowel points (niqqud) appear in:
- Children’s books
- Religious/biblical texts
- Beginner learning materials
- Words that could be ambiguous
