Personalized Learning
Before the course, you’ll take a placement test, and following that, you will receive personal guidance to match you with an accurate learning path.
Experiences from Students:
🤖 New: 24/7 AI Tutors on WhatsApp
Learning Hebrew as an English speaker is a journey. At New School, you’re not alone — beyond your personal teacher, you get access to AI Tutors 24/7 via WhatsApp, a unique feature you won’t find at any other Hebrew school in Israel.
Why this matters for Hebrew learners:
- Random questions throughout the day: See a Hebrew sign and can’t read it? Snap a photo, send it to your AI tutor, get a translation + explanation in seconds.
- Pronunciation practice: Send a 30-second recording, receive precise feedback on your accent — explanations available in English, Russian, French, or Spanish.
- Real-life rehearsal: Have a meeting at Bituach Leumi? With your kids’ teacher? Practice the conversation with your AI tutor first.
- Hebrew alphabet at your own pace: Practice letters at unconventional hours — late night, during work breaks, on the train.
- Same context across sessions: The AI remembers exactly where you left off in your last lesson with the human teacher.

Why Hebrew is Hard for English Speakers (and How We Solve It)
As an English speaker, Hebrew presents three unique challenges. Most language schools teach Hebrew the way they teach Spanish — but Hebrew is fundamentally different. Here’s the truth:
1. The RTL Reading Direction
Your brain has spent decades reading left-to-right. Hebrew flips that. It’s not just visual — it changes how you scan, process, and absorb text. It takes 3-4 weeks of dedicated practice to feel natural. We use specific exercises that accelerate this transition.
2. Three-Letter Roots & Verb Conjugations
Hebrew is a Semitic language. Instead of learning words individually, you learn a 3-letter root (e.g., כ-ת-ב for “writing”), and from it, 12-15 different forms (writer, was written, will write, etc.). Once you understand this pattern, your vocabulary explodes — but you need a teacher who explains it logically.
3. The Confidence Barrier
You’ll understand Hebrew before you can speak it. Most people get stuck here. The solution isn’t more grammar — it’s more speaking in a safe environment. That’s why our 24/7 AI Tutors are critical: practice speaking with zero judgment, anytime.
Who Is This Course For?
🛬 New Olim from English-speaking countries
You just made aliyah from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, or South Africa. You need Hebrew for daily life: doctor visits, school meetings, banks, social services.
💼 Hi-tech professionals in Israel
You work for an Israeli company in English, but want to integrate fully — speak Hebrew with colleagues, follow internal communication, build deeper relationships.
🌍 Diaspora Jews connecting to roots
You live abroad but want to connect with Hebrew — for prayer, for travel to Israel, for family heritage, or for personal meaning.
🎓 Birthright / Masa / Gap year students
You’re in Israel for 2-12 months. You want intensive Hebrew that gets you conversational fast — for friends, dating, daily life in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem.
📚 University students
You’re applying to Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, or Technion. You need academic-level Hebrew for lectures, papers, and exams.

Real Success Stories from Our Students
Sarah, 42, from New York — 18 months in Israel
“I made aliyah with my husband and two kids. My kids picked up Hebrew in school in 6 months. I felt like a stranger in my own home. New School matched me with a teacher who specializes in adult olim from English-speaking countries. The MemoReach methodology — using my adult logic instead of childlike repetition — was transformational. After 8 months, I speak Hebrew at school meetings, with my doctor, even at parties. The 24/7 AI tutors made the difference: I practiced 15 minutes every day during my coffee break.”
David, 28, from London — Software engineer at a Tel Aviv startup
“My company works in English but team meetings often slip into Hebrew. I felt left out of jokes, side conversations, and team bonding. New School’s online course let me study after work. Within 4 months, I was confident enough to participate in informal team chats. By month 9, I was running parts of meetings in Hebrew. My manager noticed.”
Rachel, 65, from Boston — Diaspora Jew planning to spend 6 months/year in Israel
“I’m not making aliyah, but I want to live partially in Israel and feel at home. I tried Duolingo, books, even private tutors via Skype with mixed results. New School’s combination of a great human teacher PLUS the AI tutor on WhatsApp was magic. The AI never gets tired of my questions. The human teacher pushes me past my comfort zone.”
